Joy is finally back!! Feels kind of good to see Biz Mag reunites again.
When she left, andy and i couldn't make it to send her off, and she came back, i couldn't be there too, cos i was at Stong. Shhh... hope she doesnt remember that we ever promised her to be at the airport waiting for her arrival...
We had a good dinner at Ichiban @esplanade. Too bad Jason and Serene couldnt make it for the dinner, but we still enjoyed the small outing. After that we had Transformer2 for movie @cineleisure, and Jason joined us. The movie was GREAT!! Megan fox is such a chio bu.. haha~~
Although it maybe juz a small gathering, i believe there will be more to come.. Looking forward. =D
This time round i wont see it as a waste of time, cos i reallie wan to use this mock ippt to gauge my fitness.
Standing board jump : 225cm. 9 cm more!!!
2.4Km : 10:20min. Need to be 21 sec faster!!
Im willing to work hard for the 400bucks. I will try!
Its good to have a very good dinner at Chong Pang nasi lemak. Cant wait to see you guyz again, my buddies..
This is one of the best and enjoyable trip i've been to. Stong!
We took train from JB. This is the 1st time i've been overnight on a train. We actually have our own bed and the feeling of sit sleeping and lie down sleeping on a train is total different, its a lot more comfortable. Just that i cant convince myself that the bedsheet is clean. argh.. We played and fooled around till after midnight before we go sleep. And im wondering how come so many people like to crowd around and sit on my bed, the bedsheet got even dirtier...
The part that i like about going to trips is that i will get to know more people. But i definitely like going to trip with ODAC ppl. I've made new friends like Gareth, Yiting, Veronica and Nafang (although she's a senior already).
I misplaced my pouch and i only realised when i boarded the train. I got so panic that i went searching up and down for it. Luckily Nafang found it and she kept it for me. When she found it, she actually announced that she found a pouch, guess i was engrossed in socialising and totally miss out the announcement. Thanx Nafang! =)
The trek was a good one, although we have to carry our trekking bag up the trek, i dun feel shag cos i have music!!! I brought along my ipod and speaker. And i have frenz who talk cock with me along the way. Its totally different from Datuk. I swear i will never go back to Datuk again!!!
The waterfalls are nice and cooling, I feel so relaxed soaking in the water although it was damnz cold. We did cliff junping and slide down the "slide". Once on the cliff, its so difficult to take the 1st step to jump off, and it took me quite sometime before i lift my legs up and fly off the cliff. Its an experience!!!
Its always good to have a chef in our trip!!! Wee hian is the highlight of the trip, i mean the food he cooked. haha~~ We had all different kind of pasta.
The view up the hill was nice too. At night we all hung around there, sing many songs and talk about anything under the sun.
This is the best trip i've been to, i dun mind going back again, and again, and again...
ODAC 2nd event, Adventure Trail Challenge.
This was held at sub-urban area at around Punggol and sengkang area. The starting and ending point were at Compass point. Participants have to run from checkpoints to checkpoints clearing various obstacles, which include Kayaking, abseiling, cycling, river crossing, rock climbing etc.
As usual, biz mag has booth duties to do. We have Deepheat, Sunplay, and A21's booths to mend. We spent most of our time hanging around the booth. But WeeHian and Samuel managed to get me escaped from the boring duties and drove me around watching the competition that was going on.
Not only i have to take care of the booths, i have to take care of Northface dome and balloon. And the weather wasnt on my side, it started raining halfway. Everyone panicked, we had a tough time shifting everything into the main tentage. For my part, i felt very stressed up becos it takes time to deflate the balloon, plus we have to shift away the heavy rocks we placed inside the balloon that were used to stablise it, and the 9000bucks dome which i was warned not to leave it under the rain. We managed to shift all my display items into the main tentage.
But through all these, we worked very well together and we built up good team work. Needless to say, we were drenched but we were happy. =)
Oh yahz, ATC will be on Channel 5 Sports@SG. So exicted, just hope to see my face on tv.
Mark from Singapore sports council called me and said that Media corp will be down fliming about ATC. He mentioned about Jade seah, and i was wondering who the hell is she. On the event day, i got to know who she is. She is the gal who acted in the volleyball show as a bimbo. =X She wasnt tt plump and she is taller than wat i tot.
Anywae the event was a successful one. I just hope this event will go on and on. I'm actually thinking of whether i should join ATC comm nex year. I want to stay in biz mag, but i also want to try something new. Let me consider..
Good job ATC!! Keep it up!!
Its like 2 days after that marathon, and im still suffering from foot pain, and a bit of bruise. I cant walk alot if not my knee will hurt too. =/
Wats worst, i have to work the whole of this week. Thanks ar.
Becos of this marathon, I cant take part in ODAC kayaking expedition. Too bad i've paid for sundown, if not i would have forgo it for ODAC's event.
It was named sundown becos it was conducted at night. The full marathon started at 1201am. Although i've only ran 2 marathons, I have to say that this is going to be my last marathon in the near future cos I feel that my legs are giving way soon, my legs need rest!
This race wasnt simple, we have cross overhead bridges. Oh my f-ing god, my thigh actually cramped, twice. This has never happen to me b4. It was so painful to the extend that i was forced to sit down immediately and stretch my legs. In total, i think i have rest-ed for like at least half an hour or more.
We shouldn't have followed Benjamin's pace. He was running as if its a 21km race, so fast that i think i had spent all my energy at the 1st half of the race, and i wasted alot of my time resting and walking. Luckily GuoRong accompanied me throughout the race. We took turns to wait for each other when our legs cramped.
Although i keep complaining and whining along the marathon, i improved! But not alot, still within the 5 hours range. Next marathon maybe 2 years later???
