bAcK fR0m "SpLaSh"~~~
Ohhh... juz in case u guyz are wondering wat is splash, its a Nanyang poly water sports club camp... It was a 3 daes 2 nitez camp held in nyp... And the water sports club includes Swimmers, Water poloists, Dragon boaters, Kayakers and the Life guards...
I muz say its a fun one but sometimes i felt so left out cos most of the people there were dragon boaters and when they were discussing about their trainings, i can juz listen cos i dunnoe a single thing about dragon boat... Sometimes I found it hard to bond with them, but i did tried... Worse was that i was randomly planned to be in a group where there is no other swimmers other than mi....
My group name was "Blastoise"... At 1st i was wondering wats that. Den they told mi its a character in Pokemon. Wat the hell, even the girls noe about "Blastoise", i feel so old.... Yesh, i'm indeed old, but i hid my age well, everyone tot i was juz 18... wahahah...
During the camp we tried dragon boating in kallang. Its rather difficult, there're technics n timing to follow and i kept hitting my paddle against the the paddles of the one in front and the one behind. I still think i can do better in swimming and running... haha...
We played captain's ball which we kept losing and still we ended got 4th among the 6 groups. Took part in telematch which include "searching sweets in flour", "blowing pingpong ball from cup to cup", "turning holding a pole", "pick green bean from a cup of mixed beans using chopsticks", "4 legged freaks", "maths station", "catching water bombs" n "piggy back" and we got 2nd.
We acted in a skit... Its about 5 ppl from different water sports teams, boasting about their individual teams n skills. Den one dae the 5 person went dragon boating and knocked into a Blastoise. Den the 5 person fight the Blastoise individually and lost. Mermaids appeared and hinted them tt untied is the key to win the Blastoise. So they combined power n eventually won the Blastoise. Duh, i got the swimmer role..... Its very lame lo... Its a very stupid but funnie one, n we got 1st in this skit event. It feel great to hear ppl laugh at our performance cos its meant to b funnie... I think we got 1st for our flag design too...
Den stil got "the amazing race".... Damnz...!!!!! early in the morning 4am woke us up juz to play... Its very tiring lo, almost every check point got road block... All so stupid... got one station is put the pringles chip on the fore head and use facial expression to pass the chip to the mouth... The clues oso very stupid... "IF [You lose your flag, you have to pay for the price] Else [Happy sleeping!!!] Wats tt??!!!! we went to the flag pole cannot find anything, we went to the place where we sleep oso cannot find anything... Answer is at IT block cos IF ELSE is a programming language which IT uses... duh....!!!!! Engineering oso got programming wat!!!! Another one is "where 'Small Elephants Glance'"... Where got elephant in nyp sia... answer is SEG... the 1st 3 letters from the sentence... waste time i we got last for this game!!!! wahahaha~~~
Surprisingly, overall we still got 2nd... wahaha~~~ Can see our group 2ic Jonathon quite happie... haha....
Anywae i think i quite enjoyed it, i've made alot frenz.... But if there's another camp, i wun go... i scared being alone... wahahaha....
