It's been sooooooooo long since i am so angry. I was accused of extorting by an immature sales consultant. (i'll explain why he is immature at the later part of the story) The incident (with all details) goes...

14th March 2008

I promised my frenz to attend classes at California Fitness (Cali) together.

So that morning I was at Cali Orchard's front counter where the immature sales consultant, Christian processed my trial pass. As we were late for the classes, we requested to do the tour after the classes, and Christian allowed. According to Christian, their procedure is to collect IC from guest and return only after the tour. So i handed my IC to Christian and i saw him clipped it onto his clip board.

After the classes, i asked for Christian to do the tour. He is straight forward, he asked whether i am reallie keen to sign up the membership or am i just there to attend the classes for trial. So i went straight to the point and tell him that i just wanted to try out the trial. When we were about to leave, i asked for my IC and he asked whether i have it with me, cos he did have my IC with him, which means he had lost my IC and was trying his luck. He went back to his office to search for the IC. After a long search, he still couldn't find it and suggested us to go for our lunch and hang ard orchard area, he would contact us when he finds it.

We went for lunch, shop a bit, still no news. We went movie and halfwae the movie, Christian called.

Christian,"Hi is this mr lee. I'm sorrie, my colleagues n i searched the club but couldn't find ur IC. Sir sorry about it, i need a favour from u."

Ziguo, "Wat izzit that u need?"

Christian, " I'm reallie sorry. I'll pay for ur replacement fee of ur IC and can we settle on our own? Its gonna affect my job if this goes to the company..."

I'm just being kind and couldn't think tt much as i was so worried about my IC, i said, "Okokiez, i'll make a new one and look for u again with the receipt.."

Christian, "thank you sir, thanx alot."

After movie we proceeded to make police report at the police station at beach road. That stupid n inefficient policeman said that loss of just IC no nit to make polilce report, can directly go over to ICA building to make a new one. By the time, ICA has closed for business on that dae so we decided to give Christian a week's grace period just in case he managed to find my IC.

I contacted Christian telling him i'll only replacement my IC one week from now.

20th March 2008

We proceeded to ICA to apply for replacement of my IC. Paid 100bucks for the replacement.

I contacted Christian telling him that i have applied for replacement of my IC.

30th March 2008

Kenny and Daryl went for gym at Cali Orchard. Kenny approached Christian asking whether izzit okokiez to pay us 300bucks instead of 100bucks becos 1st replacement of IC is 100bucks, 2nd replacement is 300bucks, and Christian had wasted my 1st chance, it will not be fair if i happen to lose my IC and i have to pay 300bucks for replacement. Kenny said to Christian, "A fair amount will be 300bucks. But its all up to you, just return watever u think its alright..."

After their classes, i arrived at the club. I showed Christian the receipt. Instead of paying up, he said he will pay only after i've collected my IC. He oso photocopied my receipt, and mentioned he has frenz who worked at ICA. Wondering wat can his frenz do...

21st April 2008

I collected my IC and contacted Christian asking him whether he's in the club cos i was in town.

He replied saying, "i'm quite busy, best is you come on sat."

I undertstand its a bit last min so i din blame him for it. But its always i who contacted him, and he who lost my IC just forget about the matter.

I called him but he din answer. So i smsed, "Why not you drop by my shop to pass me the money and i can show u my IC to verify."

He replied," I'm on course this week, will only be back in town next week."

I replied," Ok, lets make it next monday. Hope everything will be setlled by then, i do not wish to go down the 3rd time."

No reply from Christian.

27th April 2008

I smsed Christian reminding him that we'll be in the club to meet him tml.

Christian replied, "I am off til friday..tot u were coming last wk..better if u come this sat..thanks"

I was so pissed off with all these dragging, he already told mi last week that he'll be in the club this week.

I replied, "Pls deposit e 100bucks to my acc.If u wan 2verify my ic,u may come down to my work place tis week.If nt i'll b talking to ur sales manager by nex week.Pls reply"

He replied, "Are you threatening me?"

I replied, "U promised to pay for e replacement fee, i promised not to make it big. My acc number is xxxxxxxx posb saving. Pls do wat u should do, no pt dragging on."

He replied, "i will inform my manager that u n ur friends tried to extort 300 more from me n i will inform the police as well..dun try n threaten me.."

I dun feel like replying anything already. I just feel like going down to lodge a complain directly.

Christian replied again, "u can come to d club tmr..u n ur friends pissed me off wen u all tried to extort more money from me..u want to complain abt me come tmr..i will come to d club tmr too.."

I dun even feel like replying.

All smses on 27th are saved, and all conversations are typed out accordingly to the smses. And see the way he replied, so immature.

28th April 2008

At the club, no sign of Christian. We lodged a complain about him. We are the honest people, we told the manager we did request for 300bucks, but we dropped the idea and asked for the replacement fee only. We oso told the manager tt Christian accused me of extorting when in my sms i only mentioned 100bucks.

The manager asked us to go for lunch and go back after tt cos he needs to sort out the matter. When we were having lunch, the manager called saying tt Christian "tot" we are asking for 500bucks. (a new figure). I dun understand why Christian wanna made up stories to cover his ass, can't he be more clever a bit, i stated 100bucks in the sms. We clarified and

Back in the club, the manager apologised to us and return the 100bucks to us, and i was give 30 daes trial pass. I wasn't there to get free passes lo, i juz wan justice. People like Christian shouldn't be working in such a big organisation, cos Christian is nt trustworthy, he can do this to me, he can do this to others. We requested an apology from Christian.

I'm waiting for the apology date. I wan it face to face!

So guyz, its a warning not to sign up Cali membership with Christian (Orchard branch). Ask for another sales consultant.

Floor Manager: (Shocked) Sorry, all our food taste the same, we can't do refund, why not i give you a new pack of fries?

Old lady: YOU DUN THINK I M SCARED OF YOU, I WILL COMPLAIN ABOUT YOU AND YOUR FOOD. I EAT MACDONALD LONGER THAN U LIVE, DUN TRY TO CHEAT ME.

Floor manager: (still shocked) wait wait (she turned to the cashier asking the guy to do refund for tt lady). Na, here's the money.

Wahahaha... Ridiculous.... Mayb i shall try one dae...

When i was in Taiwan, i received a sms from my bro saying that i have to go for an interview at NUS conducted by the School of computing.

It was pretty positive at the beginning, until i mentioned i was specialised in networking, the panels said i chose the wrong course and asked if i m interested in taking up other courses under their school.

Hope i get through.

Taiwan taiwan... I keep thinking of tt place ever since my last visit. Miss the food the place very much. Initially wanted to go with a few other people, but ended up with only kenny and mi.

Actually this is my 3rd visit to Taiwan. This time round, just like 2 yrs ago, i stayed in Taipei throughout the whole trip. This is more like a relax trip, its more like a shopping trip, no early morning trips, earliest is at 9am and less of museum and scenic areas.

We went to Yang ming shan, where flowers bloom and simple nice food can be found there. We also went to the japanese style Wen quan where we have to go nude and the female n male pool are seperated.

We went to Ye liu. Wooo!!!! The journey there was damnz "enjoyable". We took the metro, switch to train and lastly switch to bus to get there. Oh by the way Ye liu is at coastal area where beautiful rocks are located.

We've been to Fisherman's wharf (yu ren ma tou). Nothing reallie special, juz a wharf with beautiful sea view and a nice bridge linked to it.

The weather for the 1st and 2nd dae weren't reallie good cos it was raining. We were strolling along the Dan shui lao jie when it started pouring. So disappointed we have to change our plan. And the last 2 daes, the weather started getting warm, it was even hotter than singapore. I was almost drenched with sweat on the last dae.

We din managed to go up to Taipei 101 becos it was foggy.

We went to Shi lin and Wu fen pu too. Dun go Shilin during weekends cos it was damnz crowded, but the food are nice, just miss the ice mango soooooooo much. Oh we went back Wu fen pu twice. Just dun feel satisfied after the 1st visit.

The streets were all playin Wu ke qun, cyndi and Britney's songs..... Love them...

Accomodation was quite an average gd standard. We stayed at Ming Re Fan Dian for our 1st 4 nights, and changed to Sheraton hotel for our last night (BEST!!!!) U guyz can compare the differences by viewing the photos below...

I somehow agree with wat kenny told mi. We are there to tour and enjoy, not there to buy things for people. Ended i din buy anything for ppl at all, only food and candies.

Check out these cute stuffs i bought.They aren't pills nor medicine. Thay are candies. Look carefully...

And finally the local products which i m sure to buy everytime i visit taiwan... Tai yang bing is nice, yummie...
