After conducting sub comm interview on behalf of Su on the 1st day and Perrine on the 2nd day,
I got to know that none of the biz mag seniors are staying behind.
Its good to be straight forward.
I think it will be better for you to do what you want since you often and always worry so much!

On the other hand, its such a pity that good seniors are leaving biz mag to other comm or other cca, but i know their learning curve in biz mag has already reached the limit.
Its not a bad thing doing other stuff too.

Im actually quite worried, but i have to let go!
Im letting go.

PANG KANG LO!!!

It comes to the end of my work year as a main comm in ODAC,
but that doesnt mean its the end of everything, cos most likely i will just hang around and help out.
And I know the boundary, the limit which any other new main commers are comfortable with.
Being in the main comm, i really learnt a lot.
Be it human management, commmunication skills, time management.
Also not forgetting the friendship that I have forged, they are always by my side when i needed them.
There's no need to mention names, you guyz know who you are.
And i've sacrified a lot.
My time for outside frenz, family, my studies.
And my course mates.
There's some thing which already happened cannot be erased from my memory.
But now it's time for me to redeem everything back now. YESH NOW!!!

Just last Sunday, I attended Ah yong's wedding dinner.
Okokiez, I have to admit that he's handsome! A mature Beng! haha..
So glad he still invited me, after all the disappointment i brought to him for rejecting to turn up at his bachelor night and KTV outing.
I feel the distance between us is reallie drifting further, maybe i should reflect and do what i have not been doing.

1st day of school - It just felt so weird going back to school after the 4 months long of holidays.

And strange enough, holidays are always not enough no matter how long it may be.

Just felt so happie seeing all my frenz in school again.

Lets start our studying routine soon!!!

Oh yahz, i've finally met my FYP prof.

Kind of late but better than never.

He seems nice, thats a great start!!

After 3 years, Im back at tioman for my Biz Mag retreat.

This time round i'm cleverer, i didnt suggest a 4 days 3 nights trip like our poly trip.

So everything is packed nicely, not much lobo time.

I realised i got so much braver, I even brought breads into the water for our snorkling session.

I feel like i'm a fish too when so many fishes were swimming around me.

Seriously speaking, i dont mind going back again.

The rooms condition is nice, the food are alright, the sun is good!

We had our last Ondrea dinner before everyone goes busy with hall FOC.

I just feel so happy and young meeting them.

And i dont mind playing polar bear with them over and over again.

I love Ondrea!

The long awaited event after FOOT.

As usual and according to tradition, it was held at Sentosa again.
Its an important event, cos it brings people back together.
The difference this year compared to last year is that i'm more attached to the group.
This batch of wonderful people are friendly and sincere!
They draw the distance between one another closer, and left no one alone.
I believe they will shine in ODAC! =)

Finally it's my last day of work for Great Eastern under recruit express.
The uniform colour is fugly, I have to wear my home clothes and changed to tt uniform every morning, and wear my jacket over it when I go school.
It's manly pink in colour, that's what my boss said.

8am to 11pm, that's my working hour.
My task is to uninstall program and install a new version of the same program onto the lappies of those life planners.
Not many, 2700 of them only.
I'm sure the exercise cannot be completed within 3 days, but I'm not going to work if everything overflowed to Thursday and Friday, since I've already made plans.
Although it is tiring, cos I have face alot of lappies everyday, 2 at a time, but I've made some nice frenz.
Can't wake for today to be over, I want to rest!!!!

A good day spent with a group of wonderful people.
Today was supposed to be Post FOOT, but quite a number of GLs couldnt make it, so it was postponed to next sat.

I met Benji in the morning to go for haircut at Mark seow's place.
Mark seow is just so funnie when he nags at people.
I was so scared that Benji might flare at Mark for nagging at him, but apparently Benji was quite okokiez with Mark's nagging.
After that i met up with Bingqiang to travel all the way to Tampines to meet the rest for grocery shopping.
We proceeded to Alex's aunt place for BBQ.
The place is damnz nice, with spacious BBQ pits and eating area, and big swimming pool.
We played games, watched past years videos, swam, BBQ, HTHT and celebrated Weihong's Birthday.
HAPPIE BDAE WEIHONG!

After the BBQ session, we went over to Marina Barrage.
We played polar bears.
It was damnz fun playing with them.

I wonder how it feels to have your education journey ended and have to step into the working society.
I ever encounter this feeling, but not long after my results was out, the feeling just faded.
NTU accepted me, NUS too..
I wonder what kind of job will i get?
How's my salary is like?
Where's my workplace?
I have 1.5 years to go.

After 6 days of fun, finally its Mayhwee's turn to fly.
Initially she was supposed to be in Aussie with Esther and Weixin already, but she stayed just to take on the CGL role.
Freshies and FOOT comm, are you touched?

I feel so bad not being able to give her what i did for Weixin.
But i hope she understand, i think she i will... =P
I was caught up with FOOT presentation, FOOT preparation and biz mag stuff.
The evening at the airport so was rush, i only had 30 mins to design the card.
In the end it turned out to be very nice!!!
Reallie glad that she likes the card!!! =)

Anywae i reallie hope she will take good care in Aussie, afterall its a foreign country.
She will enjoy her trip!!

FOOT 2010

FOOT 2010 was awesome!
The freshies were all very enthu, which was a very good thing, the job for the seniors became easier.
The 6 days were full of fun.
Be it bouldering, dragon boating, orientation games around NTU or mutlilevel captain ball.
The toughest part was night cycling. As the activity's name suggested, we had to cycle overnight.
But i was so surprised i was still very high even after the cycling.
FOOT 2010 was a great success!
minus the ms pelepah segment, i dont like the explicit content.

Just some personal feeling...
This FOOT may be my last one, what's in my mind was to enjoy the camp as much as possible.
My aim was to get to know more freshies, and go through all the games with them, so I tried my very best to hang around them as often, but i had to be away from the group most of the time.

I was appointed the Bouldering IC, Safety Officer for overseas trek and the Welfare IC for Ondrea.
People trust me thats why they assigned the job to me, of course I honourably took on all of them.
I have to apologise to our GLs, Alex and PeakSiah that Ivan and I had to leave the group to collect fireworks when you guyz were doing grocery shopping and packing for overseas segment, and on day 5 when i had to settle the biz mag stuffs.
Xin Ku you guyz le! Hope you guyz like the fireworks, though it wasnt mine or Ivan's idea, but we were the one who made fireworks possible =)

Come to think of it, Ondrea is the most original group.
Wondering why? Go and take a look at all the Ms pelepah and campfire photos.
Our freshies are most determined going after SPs, even though they were once rejected or the requests they got were too ridiculous.
Our seniors are most friendly and kind among the rest, we never reject freshies, and our requests were just simple. At least we didnt hide in toilet when we know freshies are approaching.

I feel closer to this batch of freshies compared to last year's, the reason is obvious for those who knows, I need to serve the country.
I just hope the Ondrea spirit will last, and beat the one we had in Dyeus, which has already/almost died off..

There's a saying " there're no bad employees, only bad bosses", but I don't agree with that, at all..

I have my own saying "if your boss has to ALWAYS take care of your work, then what's the point of hiring you..." Afterall your boss is a human being, he/she is not superman/superwoman. They have their own work to be done too.
I know Everybody deserves opportunities to make mistakes so that they can learn, but what if they just never learn? It can only prove that your boss has made a wrong decision by choosing you..

The day Weixin and Esther left Singapore for exchange.
I wonder how they feel, going to a foreign place to stay for 6 months.
But they didn't cry.
If i were them, i would have cried seeing so many people at the airport.
I'm not a cry baby, i'm just sentimental.
Anyway Hope they enjoy their stay in Aussie~~!!!

After sending them off, i went back to east coast park for Pumpfest BBQ part 2.

The chicken that Ivan marinated were damnz nice!

They even prepared fire sparklers too.

Playing the sparklers remind me of my childhood.

We had a good time chatting and eating and laughing.

Its been 3 weeks in a row that we went to Tanjong Pagar to have lunch with Preggy.
Opps, i mean Aveline.
This is time round we have Eugene Liseng Ivan Aveline and I. The supper gang. =)
The food at Amoy Hawker Centre is just irresistable.
I was craving for the Lor Mee, but the stall wasnt opened.
We tried the Hor Fan, damnz it is just as nice.
Now i have craving for Hor Fan~~!!!
Coincidentally, we also met Andy at the hawker center.
If people see us, they might think we are having a mini main comm gathering.

The milkshake is damn nice, making us go back again and again...

We didn't managed to use the vouchers cos it expired 3 days ago.
The price was affordable, but we had 350++ bucks worth of food.
We ordered like nobody business.
Too bad people who are not around, bleahz...
I like to see the table full of food!

After the dinner, we went KBox @AMK.

Its very cheap, 8bucks nett.

I must say that I'm proud to be a good trip leader.
Okokiez, not very superb, but at least not the worst, i know of some lousy ones... =X

Samuel Keller said NTU ODAC is one of the best thing that NTU has offered to student.
True true~~!!!
He went on my Stong trip which was also his 1st ODAC trip.
Feel so glad that because of this 1st trip, a 2nd one occurred.
Too bad he's leaving soon, I bet if he could just stay in Singapore for another 1 year, or even 1 semester, he would sign up for more trips.

The past weekend, ODAC had its own local seniors camp.
I finally got to hear all the cheers and songs, I have been looking forward to all these things, afterall its an yearly event.
Although some of the games maybe lame, but they're definitely fun.
Sure able to bond the group.
I'm very honoured to be tasked as the welfare IC and overseas trek safety officer.
Make use of me please.. haha..

I prefer the new night cycling route, its so much shorter than the old route.
In a way, its good for everyone, with more rest cos the next day will be a long one, very tiring.

Just anticipating how this year's FOOT is going to be like.

Her actual birthday was on the 30th June but we only celebrated for her 2 days later.
Heard from Huizhen that we could have done all these in advance,
due to the many people who told Huizhen to celebrate with her belatedly and in the end put aeroplane.
No matter what, it was still very nice meeting the old biz maggers!!

We went to Cafeteria @Suntec for italian food.
The food wasnt that fantastic, it was the company that made the evening.

Later on we proceeded to Milennia walk for cake cutting.
And we watched the Brazil VS Neitherland match, standing outside some pub which is screening it.
It was a very disappointing match, the previous World Cup Champion was out in the quater final.

We decided on Porridge buffet. So looking forward to it!!!!

The 1st half of my 4 months holidays

In case you guyz might think i'm lazy, I have been looking for job, and at the same time slacking around.
Not that i dont want to go back to my old company, but FILA is no longer operating in Singapore.
That means, i'm officially JOBLESS, since april.
I desperately need a job/jobs, but it is so difficult to find when there are so many activities in between.

I miss school but i love holidays..
I love to slack! Slack too much that i'm became so lazy to blog.

Biz Mag Luge outing

Nandos Chicken

Its quite a last minute thing.

Called up by Ivan and the next thing I know, we were queueing to get into the restaurant.
I even stopped working on my biz mag admin stuff for it... (i brought my lappie along though)
All i was thinking about is that ATC is just 3 days later and I definitely deserve good food before i start work for the actual event.
But but but....

Im quite disappointed with the food..... eeekks....

Biz Mag chalet

We were lucky to have Perrine and valerie organising this gathering.

They managed to get this chalet so last minute, cos normally booking will need at least a few months in advance.
The 1st room we got was damnz smelly after they opened the fridge.
The smell just couldnt go away even though the fridge was closed.
We managed to get a free upgrade to a bigger room with cleaner toilet.

We Daily scoop-ed, steamboat-ed, night cycled, Taboo-ed, HTHT-ed and had Macdonald breakfast!

We celebrated Douglas' birthday which was planned like 2 months ago at Prive @keppel island.

It was my first fine dining.
I must say, after the dinner, i concluded that fine dining isn't suitable for me, at all.
I want to fill my stomach!! haha~~
Anyway it was an expensive dinner, the ambience is good and the food was quite delicious.

We finally got to pass Douglas' birthday card to him, which we wrote our messages in Nexus during exams..

I got mine too!!! I love it!

Pumpfest 2010

This is one of the 4 ODAC events that biz mag can show case our effort to everybody.

We proved our hard work.
I spent the whole week at the event area helping up with Pumpfest comm.
It's just like my own event already.
I somehow feel more connected to Pumpfest event, maybe because i was attached to Pumpfest last year.
Pumpfest 2010 is definitely better than previous years', everything went smooth.

The Rice table

Been to The Rice Table for indonesia buffet with the buffet gang less Aveline.

All i can say is HOT! I burnt my lower lips.
If you cannot take spicy stuff, you can forget about it.
The variety also not alot, what else can i expect, muslim food so limited..
I wont want to go back, even if it's free.
But if there's anyone who wants to treat, i can suggest a better place.. =)

Disappointing!!

Its not all about winning, we dont even enjoy the race.
It was supposed to be a urban race and the first sub point was to make us crawl on oragne mud.
We couldnt even cycle at on the cycling trail.
What's worse, we lost our way.
We skipped from checkpoint 3 to 6, which means we had to run back to checkpoint 3.
On the way back we ran passed checkpoint 4 and 5.
Imagine the extra distant we ran.
Totally gave up already.
I was also quite angry with myself, i think my stamina dropped alot.
Who's to blame? I didnt even train for it.

Luckily one of the ODAC teams got the 1st prize.
Congrats!

And its one of the best trip i've been to in this work year.
I've met a group of nice and fun people, and they were the unexpected highlight of the trip.

Happie birthday Gary!

Seeing the increment of candles that are added to our birthday cake every year, we cannot pretend that we are still young already.

Plus the fact that almost everyone one is getting marry one after another, and having their own child.
Time flies, so scary!!
There was once i was playing with Jazanne, i said "come, let kor kor carry..."
Then somebody replied "come one larz, korkor? we are so old already, uncle can?"
But i still look very young =(
I wish i can stop the time, or let me go back to 18years old.

Okokiez, back to the topic.

We celebrated Gary's birthday at California Pizza Kitchen @Forum.
Haha, pizza.. I just ate yesterday.
Anyway the pizzas were delicious. Don't mind going back again..

There are at least 3 more variety of pizzas I din take picture of.

We bought Gary a GPS.
He knew it was Mag who suggested it and she will be using it most of the time, but I can see he is quite happy and curious with the gift as he kept playing and asking questions about it.
Although its just a short dinner, I hope Gary enjoyed the time with us.

I have 6 papers this semester.

I brought this upon myself, monkey see monkey do.
Engineer and society, a year 4 module and im taking it now.
I didn't even attend the lecture. Dont even know what the shit it is about.
Already thought of taking MC, until....
I got the tips and hints from the lecturer.
Apparently, he wants us to pass.
I feel so motivated to study for it now... =)

Pizza Pizza

Its good to reward youself after a long, tiring and hot day of studying.
Pizza hut is better than Canadian Pizza. At least there's No vomit-smelling-cheese!!!
Once in a while eat pizza is good.
I got sore throat immediately after eating the pizzas. =(

So sianz, exams are coming and‭ my things fall apart one by one.

My wallet's cash clipper became loose and and drop off. Now everytime I take my wallet out from my pocket, i'll have to check if i've dropped something. I once found my 100 over dollars cash and the cash clipper on the ground when I took out my wallet, they actually dropped out together. I desperately need a new wallet!! =(

My lappie mouse is also failing on me. Its working but just sometimes my lappie cannot detect the mouse, and i have to twist the wire, pluck in and out the cable many many times before i can use it. I don't have the patient and time to trial and error.

I just bought a new ear phone last month, and now the rubber wire casing got detached, and the ear phone head outer layer dropped out.... How can I go without a ear phone? I bring my ipod everywhere I go...

I hope i have all the money in the world to buy everything that i need.

It was held at Changi Village hotel.
The weather wasn't that good, initially the ROM solemnisation supposed to be held at level 8 where the swimming pool is situated, but it rained and they have to shift the whole event to the ballroom. We missed the good view...
Nonetheless, the whole event was a good one! The ballroom is nice too!

I once mentioned that the friendship between Gary and I is almost as old as I am, I got to know him since kindergarten.
Always think that I owe him a lot, cos he is one of my few friends who never fail to be there when i need them. So sorry, I will do my part too.
I'm proud to have him as my fren =)

Now he's married, of cos i'm very happy and feel honoured to be invited to his ROM.

Hope Gary and Mag have a happy marriage!!!
Have many babies! I wanna be ur children's god-BROTHER!!! haha...

Talking about baby, Jazanne is very cute!!! She's the daughter of Dennis and Jane.
She kept me entertained throughout the whole ROM dinner.
She refused to let me carry, i will try again on her 1st birthday!!!

Its the name Mayhwee gave, yesh the Random gang.
Thank god, we changed plan to go Serangoon garden's Chomp Chomp.
Initial plan was to cook, everyone has to cook 1 dish.
Who dare to eat my cooking? haha..
Needed to say, Chomp chomp was so crowded, we waited for quite sometime for seats.
I think different people will order different amount of food, i dont think i will order this much.
Food ordered by Ivan and ShunZhang......

After dinner we went for super nice dessert.
Hate to go out on a public holiday, we queued again...

They are very disgusting, they are planning to meet up on the 8th May to cook and bake, when most of us is not around. argh... Change date!!!!

Its a 218km run from NTU to around Singapore and back to NTU.
ODAC particpated in it.

Initially wanted to have 2 rounds of drinking, but i have to go off becos there's a running event the next morning.
Had to train up on my drinking
I merely just drank 7 to 8 glasses and i felt my head spinning already.

But he drank like bloody alot. Hope he has recovered from the hangover.

After the tiring Stong trip, had some good food at Bukit timah food centre. The carrot cake was so nice!!!!

No matter how full i am, there is sure space for ice cream.

I dun wanna go repeated trip, but this is my 3rd repeated already.
1st it was Datuk, then Jerangkang, and now Stong.

This peaceful place is called Dabong, its also the name of this train station.

Initially i was so afraid to lead a trip with non odac members, but it turned out to be quite alright.

I caved. I tried crawling into new hole. I was stuck. I saw a hugh rat. I freaked out. I enjoyed.

I love the scenary, and the waterfalls.

This time round, I jumped off the rock with no hesitations.

A great trip i would say. Next, Desaru!!!

So many birthday celebrations recently.
Attended 2 in a day.
Got to meet my frens whom i've nv met for very long.

Went to the 10bucks ktv in Chinatown, to celebrate their fren's bdae, my new fren.
Din knowtoday was the chinatown chinese carnival's opening.
Was caught in the human traffic jam,
which caused me to be late for Junliang's and Jayren's party.

Met at "The Hangout".
A new "settlers" and "mind" like cafe.
Plus Wii set, X-box PS3 etc..
Had a great time there, seeing so many people.

The environment is good.

Squeezing 7 people into a car, and meet another group of 4 at the supper place.

Nice Friday morning. Woke up early just for B-east. How supportive of me.

Made a few more friends. I want know everyone in ODAC.

The cycling route was exactly the same as sundown marathon 2009.
Means we cycled about 45km, including the Tampines Bike Trail.
Tampines Bike Trail was fun! Who wants to go back again?

Pastamania for dinner. KOI is the best.

Spent a bit of time cleaning up and arranging my stuffs, it was so dusty.
Quite satisfied with the room. Quite eager to meet my roomie, wondering what kind of a person he is..
Met my neighbour in the toilet, I hope he is not high profile in the hall, cos i still want to keep my room.

Missed the Dyeus movie outing becos the hall shifting.
Joined them for dinner/supper instead.
After so many visit to Hongkong restaurant, I can't believe i still order their instant noodle cos its the best.

My 1st trip leading experience.

Had a great time.

Long bus journey. Hotel rooms with many queen-sized beds. Steamboat dinner. Strawberry farm.

Muddy trek! Threw away my sandals, I was too lazy to wash.

This is a once in a lifetime trek, I guess nobody in their right mind will go again.

Cool weather. That's probably the only one thing I miss about that place.
Indoor amusement park.Sherlock holmes, cheap movie with popcorns and drinks for 15 ringgit.

Sometimes I feel just like a typical Singaporean, I know I am.
When things went very smoothly and well, you feel complacent.
And that's when thing goes wrong.
Careless! I swear I will never ever commit this kind of stupid mistake again!
I want to be independent.
But thing wasn't that bad afterall, problem was solved within 20mins.
Alot of helpful people in my trip.

I know it's long long wait, and i know the title of this post has appeared many times, I'm sorrie that i've neglected my blog for so long.

I was damnz busy with school and work the past few months. Its like after school or work, you feel so lazy you dun even wan to do anything that will take up alot of your time and just want to go straight to your bed to sleep like there's no tomorrow.

I did update my blog, but i din published, cos there were too many photos to upload. Everytime there's events or something happened, i will write about it since it doesnt take a lot time, but as i have to look for the photos to upload which is quite tedious, i decided to save my drafts and only published them when i have the time to upload the photos. All unpleasant posts will not be published, most of the past entries will be about events.

Anyway I've published some entries, can just read them for the time being.

Dyeus seniors gathering

Its a day for the seniors to bond. Dinner together, played guitar heroes and learnt new cheer. I'm so happie they decided to give the "bomb dee dee dee...." cheer a miss. I think we look stupid doing that. haha... Our new cheer is awesome!!! =)

Actually i was so excited to go for this gathering cos i mistook that the freshies will go too. Anywae i was still excited, i got noe more frenz like the twin sisters, sharon and sarah.

Stupid reservist has to occur on the same week. Reallie want to go F.O.O.T, no choice larz, try to get myself involve as much as possible. =/
